Normally, titles provide buffs. These buffs are only active when the title is equipped. Temporary titles have a countdown timer that starts once they are equipped. When the countdown ends, both the temporary title and its buff will automatically disappear. Unequipping a temporary title while it is already counting down does not stop the countdown timer.
